Library Lines 2/16/2011

With winter still hanging around you may be wondering what to do to beat the winter blues. The library has 9 different clubs and groups going on every month for kids & adults that you can join anytime.

If you like to knit or quilt we have Knit 2gether every Tuesday @ 7pm for knitters of all skill levels and the Quilting Group on Tuesdays twice a month, so if you are a quilter who enjoys some company and has a quilt started you can meet at the library for a workshop with Colleen Bogan .

For all of the book readers we have the Evening Book Group the meets the 2nd Tuesday of every month @ 7pm and the Waterville Book Discussion Group that meets on the 4th Wednesday of every month @ 12pm. Call us for their current book selections.

For kids we have two book clubs. The Book Bunch meets the 1st Friday of every month @ 3:30pm, children ages 5-7 can join us to talk about the book and do a little craft. For children ages 8-12 the Story 2 Screen Book Club meets the last Tuesday of every month @ 5:30pm. This month we are reading 'How To Train Your Dragon' and we will watch the movie also.

If kids are looking for a little fun we have Kids Club that meets every Wednesday at 3:15pm. Kids ages 5-11 can join us for games, crafts, food, movies and more each week. Kids ages 7-11 can be dropped off. We also have a Craft Club the 1st Thursday of every month for kids ages 7-11. In March we will be making fairy houses.

If you would like to join any of the groups going on at the library please do not hesitate to call us or drop by the next meeting.
