Library Lines 7/17

Congratulations to Mary Blunt, the first winner of the series of Adult Summer Reading prize drawings. There are 3 loaded book bags left to be won this summer, and here's how: read 3 books (audiobooks included), fill out a short review sheet for 1, submit it and enter your name into the drawing, and keep going until Aug. 21st. Review sheets are at the library and on the website at www.midyork.org/waterville.

Don't forget the "Old Folks Story Swap" when people of all ages can hear stories of stealing cannons, horses in local bars, and more. The next meeings are Friday, July 24th and Aug. 14th @ 4:30 pm. Refreshments are on us, you bring the stories. Also, stop in Tuesdays, at 3 or 6 pm for our Classic Film Series. The next film is "Some Like it Hot" with Marilyn Monroe.

Check out the sound of the Monk Rowe Duo with John Hutson Friday, July 31st at 7 pm for FREE. Bring a blanket or chairs and enjoy "6 Decades of Top 10 Hits" in the beautiful library gardens. In the case of rain, the performance will be in the library program room, and a free ticket will be required. Space is limited, so pick up your tickets today at the library, or call 841-4651 to reserve them.
